External Link removal Request
[edit]Originally attempted to remove the below census reference. I am new to editing and this is not my primary career field however after viewing potential places to move to near LA I came across the below reference and found it odd and out of place. I can provide articles to support bias in American society towards blacks or discrimination in housing practices but having used Wikipedia for several years now I have never seen use of this type of reference before in a demographic section. I still respectfully request its removal unless there is proof highlighting the top ten areas of the majority ethinc/racial group is standard practice on Wikipedia? I will spend the next several days viewing each area of LA in Wikipedia for a similar reference. If by 16 February 2019, there a no objections or proof this is common practice for the demographic section I will assume silence is consent and re-revert the change of its removal and recommend a Wikipedia article specific to the LA Times article referenced as an alternative.
- In the year 2000, these were the ten neighborhoods in Los Angeles County with the largest percentage of black residents:[1]

- Leimert Park, Los Angeles, 79.6%
- Manchester Square, Los Angeles, 78.6%
- Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw, Los Angeles, 71.3%
- Ladera Heights, California, 71%
- Hyde Park, Los Angeles, 66%
- Chesterfield Square, Los Angeles, 58.6%
- West Rancho Dominguez, California, 57.6%
