MERGE suggested

[edit]

This should be merged with LACHRYMA CHRISTI, as it's the same article.

Yes, they should be merged. According to Burton Anderson, Wine atlas of Italy (1990), p. 271, the modern official spelling is this (Lacryma Christi) without the h. But it may well have varied. Andrew Dalby 20:15, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Grape Varieties?

[edit]

It would be informative, if anyone has this information, to list the grape variety types in these Lacryma Christi wines. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spope3 (talkcontribs) 03:59, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling

[edit]

Maybe we should mention that 'lacrima' is the word for 'tear' in both Latin and Italian, and that the plural 'tears' is lacrimae/lacrime. 'Lacrima' is extensively used by wine makers.John Wheater (talk) 11:41, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
