There is nothing on this page that a google search could fix. Also, the article that you cite doesn't exist when I searched the site. Yanksox 00:30, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- This article is nothing remarkable, but definitely not of encyclopedia quality right now. I'm neutral on this speedy. The article needs a lot of work.--Alphachimp talk 00:32, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- The problem here isn't that the school may or may not be notable. (If you think it's non-notable, prod it.) The problem was that it wasn't written as an encyclopedia article; I've fixed this, but of course it's now very short. -- SCZenz 00:32, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. Good Call. --Alphachimp talk 16:44, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

The article is now updated. If there are any other questions or disputes, please ask. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stewaral (talk • contribs) 06:56, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Citations
[edit]What specifically needs to be cited on this page? Just about everything written is factual, not opinion-based information, and therefore does not need specific references. Stewaral (talk) 04:42, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Facts need verifiability sources. How will readers know that what they are reading are facts? There needs to be references added. Not everyone knows that Laconia High first opened in the fall of 1875 or that its original campus was on Academy Street. Members of the school may know this is true, but there needs to be references to back it up. Things like "grades 9-12" obviously don't require references, because those can be assumed. Also, you should never remove template messages that were added by other users unless it's obvious that you've cleared issue. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks :) --Dan LeveilleTALK 19:36, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Also, when you use accessdate or full dates in references, always use ISO 8601 YYYY-MM-DD format, e.g. 2008-01-08. --Dan LeveilleTALK 19:37, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, scratch that statement about the templates. I didn't realize the template I added to the article was {{unreferenced}}. The removal of it was valid, because you did add at two references (Though the article still needs more to be improved). --Dan LeveilleTALK 19:42, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
Wrong Image Used In Article
[edit]The second image used in the article is of Laconia Middle school, a school that is in the same district. This issue is a simple error that could be corrected with a cursory google search of the actual school. --Beesechurgerboy (talk) 14:05, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
- You are correct; I've removed the photo. You are welcome to be bold and make such a change yourself in the future. Just provide a descriptive edit summary when you do. Thanks, --Ken Gallager (talk) 14:58, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
