There was reference to NASA Earth Observations: Land Cover Classification” "Retrieved 27 August 2019" included in the article, which appears to me to have been mere padding to make the article look a tad more substantial. That link does not provide anything about "Lac Terant", and does not even mention it. Is
it possible to get from there to some info about the lake? Even if that were possible, i will probably dispute the use of this reference in this article. It is a disservice to readers to include it, and to editors as well, as it appears to be missdirection / deceipt / what have you. --Doncram (talk) 23:12, 15 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Following the recent deletion debate, I have added some information derived from maps of the region. Since most of the maps do not even name the lake, the citations do nothing to establish notability in the conventional WP:GNG sense. The lake has not been noted. However, they do provide relevant information about the lake's position and environment which may be of interest to readers, and may contribute to meeting the project-specific WP:GEOLAND requirements.
