Grammar and vocabulary needs improvement
[edit]As in many English articles on telenovelas, there are many grammatical and vocabulary mistakes that make reading and comprehension difficult. Like other articles on telenovelas, it looks like it's a direct translation of the Spanish version. Correcting and rewriting takes time and effort but if each reader corrects at least a couple of mistakes and/or rewrites a frase or paragraph (in true Wikipedia style) these articles will improve very quickly and meet Wikipedia's quality standards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.141.188.87 (talk) 22:20, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

Telenovelas Are Not Soap Operas
[edit]Telenovelas do not belong in one category with soap operas. Soap operas are never ending Searches for Tomorrow. Telenovelas are novels made into a TV series. They have an ending in roughly 6 months to a year, typically.
Useless Boiler Plate for Telenovelas
[edit]IMHO:
- Normally with Wikipedia one is supposed to have documentation/ citations from reliable secondary sources for articles. This is not practical for telenovelas. The content of a telenovela article is largely not findable in such sources. People watch the telenovelas and the network websites. Then they write an article from what are the forbidden primary sources. There really is no other way to do it. So putting up the nauseating pedantic boiler plate objections about sources is useless. - Where on earth is there a copyright violation? (EnochBethany (talk) 19:36, 11 November 2011 (UTC))
