[edit]I saw a Night Gallery with Rod Serling years ago with the same plot device, although in this case the statue wasn't of a beautiful woman, but of a man seemingly screaming in horror or agony.
There were strange goings-on that could only be explained by the statue coming to life each night and returning to its pedestal -- in a slightly different position -- before morning. 71.63.88.89 (talk) 14:46, 19 August 2013 (UTC) Randall
