Vandalism
[edit]Stop trying to vandalize this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheSilentJanks (talk • contribs)
- No one is trying to vandalise the page but much of the content, such as your joke picture, are not encyclopedic and in fact more like fiction. Please restrict the content to verifiable facts or it will be removed. Thanks David D. (Talk) 17:33, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Content needs to be notable
[edit]Well there was no reason to take down the first picture, it was clearly of LPHS, and the statistics and teacher data are all true and relevant. I know, I'm in this school right now, your data is out-of-date as of today. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheSilentJanks (talk • contribs) 18:43, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- What you know to be true and what is verifiable are not the same thing. There have been two pictures here. One was vanity, we can do without that, the other was a joke, "our school looks like a prison, really". This is not a place for your joke stuff, that why they have myspace. David D. (Talk) 18:50, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Well considering it was a picture of the school, and clearly showed La Plata High School written on the building, I'm not sure why that wouldn't belong in this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheSilentJanks (talk • contribs) 18:52, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Because John Childers' class is not notable. Really if you want this stuff on the web start up a blog or myspace. That is far more appropriate. David D. (Talk) 19:15, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Content needs to be verifiable
[edit]This page was crediable but you destroyed it. If you dont know the facts dont post them, leave our school alone —Preceding unsigned comment added by Caviarsteel (talk • contribs) 18:56, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
You cant try to fix something that you know nothing about —Preceding unsigned comment added by Caviarsteel (talk • contribs) 19:01, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
You dont know the truth and we do so let us put the right stuff up —Preceding unsigned comment added by Caviarsteel (talk • contribs) 19:05, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
The facts need to be true!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cronos2546 (talk • contribs) 16:24, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- How do you know they are true if they are not verifiable? David D. (Talk) 16:28, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
Alumni
[edit]Are the two just added by Cronos2546 (talk · contribs) more notable than just merit scholars? David D. (Talk) 16:28, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Abe Massad is smartes senior in the class of 08 in the entire nation —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cronos2546 (talk • contribs) 16:36, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Gavin Reen is currently developing a program with Nasa look him up he is legit
Neither seem that notable. You should read the notability requirements for wikipedia. David D. (Talk) 16:43, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
Fine maybe their not that notable but the rest of the stuff is true —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cronos2546 (talk • contribs) 16:47, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- What is true? What of the things you deleted were untrue? And what is verifiable? David D. (Talk) 16:49, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Senor Garth Bowling is not useful on this page. Care to verify that? David D. (Talk) 16:52, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
Flaming Warrior is not useful on this page. Care to verify that too? David D. (Talk) 16:54, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
Because our principle just married a Spanish woman and changed his name just give us a few days and we will get verification for everything —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cronos2546 (talk • contribs)
- Get verification first, then make the changes. Until you have the verification, the page will be reverted to a version supported by reliable sources. --Onorem♠Dil 16:58, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Where is this verification going to come from? We do not accept original research. By the way try and sign your posts with the four tildes (~~~~) at the end. Its hard to keep track of your comments if you don't sign off. David D. (Talk) 17:00, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
I dont take the time to sing off and Your research is not valid either how can you prove it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Caviarsteel (talk • contribs) 19:04, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- As repeated multiple times above, the references provided on the page are the reliable sources for the information presented in the article. --guyzero | talk 19:09, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Welcome Warriors
[edit]Greetings from someone familiar with the area. How's the new shopping areas along Rt 3. Visit the 'Dorf often? :)
1. Get the research. Our items are referenced and can be verified. How about yours?
2. Where is the prison pic from? I definitely don't remember that on campus.
3. This is the English Wikipedia. Unless you have a strong reference showing he goes by Señor, Mr. is the formal and customary title used on this wiki.
4. Finally, thanks for creating the article. However, continuing to add unverified items about the school and Mr. Bowling can be construed as vandalism and get you blocked from editing. Please consider your next moves appropriately.
Thanks and Welcome! spryde | talk 19:54, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
I admit some of the junk put on there was fake but you just wait till we get verification for the truth than you shall see Flamin Warrior27 (talk) 18:53, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Look forward to seeing it. You might be able to upload a decent picture too? David D. (Talk) 20:07, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Founding date
[edit]The current school was built in 1979 (Are you sure?? The plaque in the front lobby gives a date after 2000. And indeed, the whole school has a new appearance). (comment by 96.231.172.10)
- There could be a third building that I confused with the 1979 building (will have to look for more information to see if this is the case, etc). Tedickey (talk) 10:14, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- Here is one of the links that I read citing the 1979 date Tedickey (talk) 13:13, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- CCBOE's page for the school also says it was constructed in 1979. Either they neglected to mention a new school, or the plaque refers to some renovation, etc. Tedickey (talk) 17:17, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
