This is an advertising document
[edit]This has clearly been written by some executive trying to advertise the area. It's not the CBD of Lyon, that would be the area around Rue de la Republique and Place Bellecour. I removed the copy from the first paragraph but the whole article needs to be rewritten and possibly deleted. 90.167.94.119 (talk) 17:56, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
- Yes and no. On one hand, clearly a lot of the content is using advertising-adjacent language and this needs to be addressed, and the irrelevant promotional stuff removed, on this I agree. On another hand, Part-Dieu absolutely is Lyon's CBD, there is not the slightest doubt about that. République (from Hôtel de Ville to Bellecour) is the center of Presqu'île and an important tourist and shopping district, but definitely not a business district. This page should absolutely not be deleted, only rewritten, made shorter, and updated, as half of the entire district has been undergoing massive reconstruction (owing to its status as, you guessed it, Lyon's CBD).
