Untitled old thread

There are two assertions about LaGuardia which are ill-documented:

The college has been named a National Institution of Excellence (Policy Center on the First Year of College) and 1 of the "Top 3 Large Community Colleges in the U.S." (Community College Survey of Student Engagement, 2002).

Properly speaking, it should have a page reference, etc. Also, do these documents exist online?

Editing Repeats

There seems to be an editing of adding and removing of LaGuardia's suppose corruption by the same author with a different name, while another unregistered user is removing that very content. Please fix the neutrality of said corruption with more than a singular reference. FireAllianceNX (talk) 15:48, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

FireAllianceNX, it's not the same person adding and removing the "supposed" (not "suppose") corruption. I have done what I could to support and document my assertions. A certain C. Jason Smith deleted, no, censored, the critical stuff from the website. Bet he could find a great position in some tin-pot dictatorship. But this is Wikipedia. He deletes, I restore. CUNYTruther (talk) 03:46, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

One of the problem I see is this, all the sources are linked to the same site. Said site is not a primary source nor a reputable source. Please use more than this single source to support this section (Or use the references on the site instead of linking to the site that takes you to another reference. There are some links to one site which refers to documents which are not online. Since this is the only site which refers to these documents, we have no choice but to use it as a reference. CUNYTruther (talk) 15:50, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

None of the sources used by Laguardiatruther are sufficiently reliable for such strong claims - and it assigns much too much onesided weight to the criticism and corruption allegations. ·Maunus·ƛ· 17:05, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

Non-free media upload

That would be great! Essentially, you just need to (a) upload the image, (b) place the correct templates on the image description page, and (c) add it to this article. When I upload a college or university seal/logo, I almost always just copy the templates from another university seal/logo and tweak them appropriately; usually the only thing that needs to be changed is the name of the institution and the article(s) to which you will be adding the image. This would be one example you could copy (although you'd have to also remove the svg template if the image you're uploading is not an svg image).
