[edit]See WP:BLP1E. In addition to that, per other BLP issues, we are waiting to see if LaDonna is even OK with having a separate article that focuses on her. Per cited policy, and cultural respect, we are asking that this remain a redirect unless she decides otherwise. Thank you. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 01:08, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- A little confused. Which BLP issues are you concerned with? LaDonna has been interviewed multiple times by credible news organizations and is a significant civil rights figure in her own right. Her incredible achievements in the past year should be recognized. Native American women are too often sidelined in the writing of history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.177.21.97 (talk) 23:43, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
- At this point she's a public figure, so going ahead with it. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 18:35, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
Focus more on the person
[edit]I don't question that Allard is deserving of an article. However, as I write this comment, the article focuses more on camps and activism than it does on the person. If the article is about Allard, it should provide basic information beyond the two sentences in the first paragraph. For example:
- When and where was she born?
- Who were her parents?
- What education does she have?
- What jobs has she held?
Items such as those should be basic components of a person's biography. Beyond those, the article can elaborate on her accomplishments. Eddie Blick (talk) 16:59, 1 March 2017 (UTC)
