Conversions
[edit]The figures don't add up:
to Class E 26 to Class F 10 to Class G 17 to Class G1 91 Total 144
The total build was 170. Does this mean that some remained unconverted? Biscuittin (talk) 19:54, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, not all were converted: but one of your rows is in error. 32 were rebuilt to G, not 17. The balance of 11 were withdrawn without being rebuilt, and are listed in LNWR Class B#LMS ownership. Unfortunately that paragraph gives the impression that these were the only Class B inherited by the LMS: in reality, they also acquired several others, and carried on rebuilding them to G1 before they stopped B-G1 rebuilds in 1927.
to Class E 26 in 1904-08 to Class F 10 in 1906-08 to Class G 32 in 1906-17 to Class G1 91 in 1917-27 wdn. as B 11 in 1927-28 except for LNWR no. 134, wdn. 1922 after explosion at Buxton Nov 1921 Total 170

Navbox
[edit]We could do with a navbox for LNWR locomotives. Would anyone like to create one? Biscuittin (talk) 22:42, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
- I have created one (based on the LMS one). Please expand it if you can. Biscuittin (talk) 10:23, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
