Age of consent has not been equalized. It is 18 for male homosexuals, 16 for others. see[1] and [2] 116.49.64.124 (talk) 05:51, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
- Not done: Your source is from 2017. The source in the article is from 2022, about the court striking down part of that law. RudolfRed (talk) 01:56, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
- @RudolfRed: The two sources above state the age of consent for heterosexuals and female homosexuals is 16. The court's ruling only decriminalized "acts between adults".[3] The age of majority in Saint Kitts and Nevis is 18. Therefore, age of consent has not been equalized.--42.98.0.194 (talk) 08:03, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- The source says "They argued that as a result, those sections of the of the Offences Against the Person Act are null and void and of no force and effect to the extent that it applies to consensual sexual intercourse in private between persons 16 years of age or more." I read this to mean that it is now legal starting at age 16. I will leave the request open so that if there is consensus that your view is correct, then another editor can make the change.
