Anti-gay Criminal Law repealed
[edit]Something should be said of the fact that the anti-gay criminal law was repealed recently as part of a larger bill. It also repealed the ban on adultery and fornication. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.142.177.34 (talk) 15:29, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
Urban versus Rural Living Conditions
[edit]Something in this article should probably address the fact that LGBT community is much more visible and politically active in the Twin Cities area or certain other cities in Minnesota (such as Duluth). When you move into the more rural and suburban communities, especially within West Central Minnesota, people are much less likely to be openly gay, and if any organized gay community exists, its going to be very discrete and very low-key. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.127.166.57 (talk) 18:39, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
Safe Schools
[edit]Something should be the written about the anti-harassment policy that was enacted for schools. A few years ago, the State legislature passed a law that requires all K12 schools to have clear policy against harassment, including harassment of LGBT students. Browned79
