Fair use rationale for Image:Afc lcd LCDSoundsystem.gif
[edit]Image:Afc lcd LCDSoundsystem.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 15:56, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Should the singles really be counted as part of the album?
[edit]I am not sure that we should consider Disc 2 of the 2-CD set as part of the album itself. It is a bonus disc, and not available on all versions of the album. CD versions with a black background and a white disco ball do not feature the singles collected on Disc 2, although a later release with the black cover does feature "Yr City's A Sucker" as a bonus track. Also, vinyl versions of the album do not feature the singles. IIRC, the CD was originally issued solely on DFA with the black cover and without the singles disc. Later on, it was issued on DFA/Capitol with a white cover and the second disc. This may be nitpicking, but it has always seemed to me that the second disc of collected singles is not part of the album proper, and should be listed as a bonus disc. --Leamanc (talk) 09:19, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
- The white cover with the second CD was the original release in 2005. The black cover with only the first disc was released in 2007. [1]. I agree the album "proper" is only the first disc, but the second disc is never listed anywhere as a "bonus", merely a collection of the early singles and their b-sides.Plum743 (talk) 08:50, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
