L-Sit on the Floor

[edit]

Could anyone add photos of L-sit on the floor and explain why it is more challenging to do it on the floor than on other devices? --Roland 20:14, 31 October 2013 (UTC)

On the floor it can be harder than on parallettes because on the floor you need to strongly depress your scapula in order to stay off the ground. On an elevated surface, lack of scapular depression is not an issue. On rings is harder than on other devices, because you need a strong shoulder adduction in order to keep your arms close to your body while holding an L-sit.SurpassingGravity (talk) 11:44, 28 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
