All-time fleet
[edit]I find the section about the all-time fleet here a little odd. In 1993 I took a LAPA flight from Colonia del Uruguay to Jorge Newberry. It was an Embraer 120, yet an Embraer is not mentioned here. --Gereon K. (talk) 18:38, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
- You can add the type to the list by yourself if you have a reference to support the claim.--Jetstreamer Talk 22:12, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
- Faulty memory. It must have been a Embraer EMB 110 Bandeirante. See http://www.flugzeugbilder.de/show.php?id=984303 . --Gereon K. (talk) 10:18, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for your contributions to the article. Many editors provide images as a source for supporting their claims that an specific airline owned or had an aircraft type in the fleet. That's not considered a reliable source, as there are many cases in which aircraft were painted in the livery of a company, but the plane never flew for that company, for many, many causes. You can readily find some of these cases at Airliners.net, where the photographer provides an explanation at the bottom of each image. I managed to replace one of the references you introdued. Regards.--Jetstreamer Talk 11:14, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for your explanation and replacing the reference. I did not know that you make a difference here between sharing, borrowing, owning and leasing an aircraft. --Gereon K. (talk) 12:39, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
