Is "On My Way Home" by Joe Cocker a cover version or a different song?
[edit]I fear that there's a mistake in this article, but I'm afraid to change it.
On My Way Home is not a cover version of La-Bas as stated in the article. It is indeed a song from Jean-Jacques Goldman (music) and Michael Jones (text), both play guitar and provide harmonies. But the song is with a total different melody and total different series of chords.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oY1E2G50zvw is the version from Joe Cocker
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFwaRmpzvjo is La-Bas from Goldman and Simira.
It could be that Goldman was inspired to On My Way Home by his own song La-Bas. If so, it should be added in the article with source/citation.
Maybe someone can help to decide.
Thanks alot! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tranfunsel (talk • contribs) 20:31, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
