Dale Earnhardt Jr. Controversy

This section doesn't need to be here, it is misleading. There is no (known) ongoing feud or controversy between Jr and Busch. The accident at Richmond was just that, an accident, the type that occurs at every race. I have not seen a single interview where Jr blamed Bush or any talk that Busch did it purposely. Also, the fans have been booing and throwing trash at Busch long before that event. In regards to Jr joining Hendrick, the 'controversy' was more about Jr was leaving DEI (his dead father's team) and not so much about him replacing Busch at Hendrick. Also, major team/driver changes are a frequent occurence during the Nascar off season causing fans do dub it the 'silly season'. This event, while pretty big due to Jr's fame and Hendricks recent success, wasn't all that controversial.

I agree that this section does not need to be here. Although the wreck will be talked about for a long time, thats because JR fans are bitter. It does not need to be on his page.

Listing Wins

I noticed none of Kyle Busch's wins from any series are not listed in his article. Look at the Tony Stewart article, listings of the wins like that. --Jasen 07:14, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

F1 Testing

some one read that article on nascar.com and tell me if its worth mentioning.... basicaly what it said was that he's going to test for some F1 team this november in japan and that he'll bring the cup car... he said to twin rings montego... but i don't know how notable this is- DeftalC3AU (i'm on a different computer i'll sighn it later)

Biographical information

This article contains no biographical facts: home, family, education. This information is necessary to create a well rounded article that read as more than an overly detailed recitation of each race in Busch's career. A paragraph containing this information should be inserted at the head of the article. Jaedglass (talk) 15:00, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

This page needs some corrections to the wording, mostly in the final paragraph (a highlight of his very unsucessful run in the 2006 Chase for the Cup). Also, there are many parts that would require a link, but do not have them. I will watch and work on this page later, if I have to. Jlricherson 06:48, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

The information about Erica and Kyle dating in high school was completely wrong. Erica grew up in Easton, PA and Kyle is from Las Vegas.

Clean Up

This article needs some serious clean-up. We don't need 3 subjects of 2008. We need the 2008 subject after the Departure because it just doesn't fit.(Gordon24fan (talk) 03:17, 1 March 2008 (UTC))

Busch Drives a Toyota in NCTS

I'll fix it, you noobs. DeftalC3AU (talk) 04:11, 8 March 2008 (UTC) Never mind i miss read it when it talked about his daytona win DeftalC3AU (talk) 04:13, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

More Refrences To Events

I believe we need more refrences to events, and need to star getting rid of events that mean minor in his overal biography. --Jrobb525 (talk) 18:43, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Removed POV section

"Dale Earnhardt Jr Controversy" i went ahead and removed it, as it appared to be a Point Of View that detracts from the article (Racerboy (talk) 20:11, 28 July 2008 (UTC))

Nicknames

Rowdy, Shrub and Wild Thing are well documented nicknames (the name over the window on his Camping World Truck Series truck even says "Rowdy Busch"). However, I will admit, I've never heard him called Spider. And I'm a Kyle fan (yes, I said that out loud...go flame someone else, Junior fans -_-). I think that needs to be referenced. Fixed it. --raganbaby_6 20:45, 12 December 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Raganbaby 6 (talkcontribs)

Points ahead into 2008 Chase

The article says he had an 80 point lead over Edwards going into the 2008 Chase. As you know, it was only 20, so I'm changing it.Goku's Rival (talk) 17:02, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Childhood

The KBF section is included under the Childhood headline, which should be fixed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.69.125.74 (talk) 16:03, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Record for most wins in a season.

Busch does NOT hold the record for most wins in a season across the top three series. He holds the MODERN-ERA record for most wins in a season across the top three series. Richard Petty holds the all-time record, or simply the record, with 27 wins (all in the cup series). The two records almost don't even compare because Busch only won 3 cup races in 2010. I'm rephrasing it as such. Also there are things in the opening statements which are achievements, but also circumstantial, the opportunity to win in two different series in the same day is pretty rare. He did it, and there is a possibility that the opportunity for someone else to do so might never happen again. That is something for a different section of the article, like 'neat facts' or something along those lines. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.231.117.36 (talk) 05:38, 25 August 2011 (UTC)

Editing

Can whoever edits any NASCAR article not put a driver as the winner of a race before the race is over?

I just had to delete the sentence stating that he won at Darlington, when in fact he did not. He essentially collapsed in the last 15 laps.

Thank you, --75.177.141.0 (talk) 02:47, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

Well, already done about 2 hours ago. ZappaOMati 04:30, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
