[edit]not sure how to use this info, I should probably either make a new article, or convert this into a joined manga/movie/series article. I've mostly paraphrased it, but not enough.
Nihonbungeisha's Weekly Manga Goraku magazine announced on September 19, 2014 that a live-action series adaptation of Hiroshi Mutō's Hitman From Today (Kyō kara Hitman) had been green-lit with Jun Kaname playing the protagonist.[1] Mizuki Yamamoto and Nanao star as Chinatsu and Misako respectively.[1] Hitoshi Iwamoto is directing the show which began streaming on BeeTV's d-Video service on October 1, 2014[1] The original manga has been running in Weekly Manga Goraku since 2005, and Nihonbungeisha published the 29th compiled book volume on September 18, 2014.[1]
