AFC Hammersmith Town
[edit]There is significant doubt that Kwame Adjeman-Pambo plays for AFC Hammersmith Town. The source may have been misinterpreted.[1] It only establishes that someone called Kwame Pamboe was a substitute for the team in a match. There are has several reasons to suspect that this is not the same person:
- The name is not the same. Also, Kwame seems to be a fairly common given name, and Wikipedia mentions other people with the surname Pamboe.[2]
- AFC Hammersmith Town play in the Leatherhead and District Sunday Football League. Sunday league football is an amateur version of the game, and comes below the 21 levels of the English football league system. It is unlikely that a player of Kwame Adjeman-Pamboe's profile would play Sunday league football.
- Kwame Pamboe is listed as a substitute. Kwame Adjeman-Pamboe would probably have made the starting lineup.
- If AFC Hammersmith Town had made a star signing it would probably have had some publicity and have been mentioned in the local press. A web search revealed no such coverage.
Please provide an additional source to confirm that Kwame Adjeman-Pamboe has indeed played for this team. Verbcatcher (talk) 16:48, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

At sunday league level, players don't always register umder their full names — Preceding unsigned comment added by Primetimedad (talk • contribs) 20:10, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
- These tweets do not give his name as Kwame Adjeman-Pamboe. We need a reliable source that either gives his full name, or has a photo or video that clearly matches known photographs of him. Verbcatcher (talk) 20:28, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
When AFC Hammersmith Town signed him they published a video on twitter. There is a picture of him on the video https://twitter.com/afc_hammersmith/status/1296861840950079489?cxt=HHwWgsC1iaW-sP8jAAAA

- Ok, I think that is sufficient. The signing tweet from AFC Hammersmith Town is useful evidence, and the nickname JJ is confirmed by the English Players Abroad source. His picture in the tweet is similar to one identified as Kwame Adjeman-Pamboe,[3] although it is not clear enough to be definitive. I have edited the article accordingly. Do you know if he has retired from professional football, or if this is just a way to keep his fitness and skills up until a better opportunity arises? Thank you for your help.
