First read-through

[edit]
Lead and infobox
  • Please add ALT text for the infobox image.
  • I believe that this show is based on the Harajuku Girls not the Harajuku Lovers so please change that in the lead and the infobox. I also believe that the show is based on her back-up dancers, which is not necessarily a “brand” so I would revise both the lead and the infobox to better reflect this.
  • I do not see the need for Reference 4 in the lead. The same information should be in the body of the article with the citation.
  • Link Network Ten
  • This part (some reviewers commended the characters as strong role models) is not true as only one critic says this in the article.
  • You mention in the lead that this was done in Flash, but this information is not present in the body of the article, and is not supported by a citation.
  • I do not see the need for the references in the infobox as all of that information should be present and cited in the body of the article
Premise
  • This entire section requires citations. I will look through this more thoroughly once things are cited.
Characters
  • This entire section requires citations. I will look through this more thoroughly once things are cited.
  • Please add ALT text for the image.
  • I would think that this section would work better if you converted the bulleted list to paragraphs of prose.
Production
  • For this part (Gwen Stefani specifically served as the template for the series' lead character, G.), you can remove “specifically”.
  • For this part (At Nickelodeon's 2017 upfront presentation, Gwen Stefani appeared to officially announce a second season of Kuu Kuu Harajuku.), I am not sure what you meant by “appeared to”.
Episodes
  • Good work here.
Release
  • Do you have any information on the time and day in which the show is normally broadcast?
  • I would fill in the episode count for the Super Kawaii release. I would imagine that this must be known as it has already been released.
  • I would include in the prose in the “Home media” subsection information on the Music, Baby and Super Kawii releases.
  • Any information on ratings for this?
Reception
  • I would include a topic sentence for the second paragraph.
References
  • I would highly recommend looking through these sources (1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) to add to the article.
  • Beacon Street Online is not a reliable source as it is a fansite.
  • For Reference 27, “Full List” should not be in all caps.
  • Reference 18 is dead for me
Final comments
Verdict
  • I am going to fall this on the grounds that two rather large portions of this are completely unsourced. I would also have this copy-edited by the WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors (and you can request that here) as the prose could be improved. Either way, good luck with improving this, and great work on it so far. Aoba47 (talk) 15:26, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
