Major edits

[edit]

Hi

I have looked a little more closely and am noticing that the edit in question actually removed sources! I am also not seeing any controversial material.

Lets start with the controversial material- what are you seeing in the article that seems controversial by you? TantraYum (talk) 18:12, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't what I delete is most advertisement without citation ? Alexson 97 (talk) 21:08, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for dropping by and being willing to talk.
To back up a bit- part of your edits are actually removing sources. Also, I am not seeing any controversial material. Can you please tell me what material you see as controversial?TantraYum (talk) 21:40, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Do you gain any benefit from this university or are you one of the agent ? The whole page is writing as an advertisement without citation . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Wei_Zexi Alexson 97 (talk) 22:51, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I have never heard of the school before I found this article a few days ago.
I disagree that the whole article is an advertisement.... and with that said, I really like some of your recent edits... I think you have identified some parts of the article that are unsourced, inaccurate and promotional. Let's take those parts out!
Thanks for being open to talking and working together. Warmly, TantraYum (talk) 23:08, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your understanding , I am not experienced in providing or editing information on wikipedia , thats why I would ask for your opinion for certain part of the editing . For the library with 500 thousound copy == the library is only one room big (maybe 40 square meter) , the table for study are only about 20 row , the librarian does not speak english . Does the 500 thousand copy seem promotional ? and I have no idea about the european quality . the flags of international student are also very misguiding Alexson 97 (talk) 03:57, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Glad to be collaborating with you- your input is appreciated!
lol This university sounds like quite a place. I have snipped out the library along with the inaccurate claim to be in the top 100, along with the flags. TantraYum (talk) 04:11, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have been a student of this university. Graduated on 20th June 2014. I have spent 6 yrs of my life there and I know each in and outs of this place. May be I can help in editing the content. Manoj Sehray (talk) 04:59, 20 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Redoing the Article

[edit]

I think you are right, the article needs a major overhaul. Lets move slowly and take out anything that is not necessary- one piece at a time, for the sake of WP:CON. Anything else you feel is unnesary? TantraYum (talk) 04:15, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

As you can see , the school is in russia , but the english page contains more information without sources than the russian page haha . It is a multi-million dollar business (wink) . Alexson 97 (talk) 21:18, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edits

[edit]

Some of your edits are fine, and some are not.

None of videos or articles in the dispute section mention Kursk State Medical University. The statement "The university is currently facing critics ." is unscoured and hence WP:OR and WP:SYNTH

".The school is listed in the https://search.wdoms.org/ . World Health Organization does not recognize colleges, it only accepts the listing of Medical Colleges around the world if it is listed in the World Directory Of Medical Schools (WDOMS)." just doesn't fit in the lead.

Also, please don't mark minor edits for non-minor edits, it is deceptive.

Lastly- you did not respond to the reasons why I took out the dispute section or the sentence in the lead- you just reverted... this thing is based on dialogue and discussion. TantraYum (talk) 04:33, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Impressive , how do you make the esquire page 404 ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexson 97 (talkcontribs) 08:31, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Blogs do not meet WP:RS

[edit]

One of the core policies of Wikipedia is WP:RS and blogs definitely do not qualify.

Would you please remove this blog text that you have linked to in the article? [[1]] TantraYum (talk) 11:13, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I would take it down today , and upload the one you ask for tomorrow , lets both step back and take a compromise . Alexson 97 (talk) 11:23, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure what you mean, I didn't ask for one?
WP:RS is not comprimisable. If you come up with a source that meets it, I would love to see it in this article. TantraYum (talk) 16:22, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
