Religion
[edit]"Approximately 70% of the population is Christian and Akan religion, 28% Atheists, with a smaller number of adherents 2% to Islam. It is an Anglican diocesan, Roman Catholic archdiocesan, and a Methodist episcopal area."
Where do these numbers come from? I highly doubt, you will find a group of people in Kumasi or Ghana in general adding up to 5%, let alone 28%, considering themselves Atheists. Ghanaians are very religious and/or spiritual people, this number does look very odd to anyone familiar with the culture and the fact that no source is named, makes it even more questionable.
Please add a legitimate source otherwise I will try to validate it myself and in case find a correct number or if unsuccesful take it out.
Thanks
Spelling
[edit]Is there a good reason for Kumasi being spelt with an 'e' here? I find it particularly odd as the local roadsigns all seem to use the standard English spelling with an 'i'.Longwayround 13:10, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Please we do not celebrate Homowo in Kumasi. Homowo is afestival of the GA people, they aere in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana in the South. Please make that correction for me thanks.

Main picture
[edit]Hi. The main picture of the article is supposed to display the "Kumasi Fort" (top picture). But this fort is in Cape Coast and there is no such fort in Kumasi. Thanks for the correction — Preceding unsigned comment added by 197.220.160.38 (talk) 11:26, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
Largest city
[edit]According to the 2010 census, Kumasi Metropolis is more populous than Accra Metropolis, yet it is still considered the second largest city of Ghana. And shall we use the 2013 estimate, whose link is dead, as a more recnet source? --C messier (talk) 17:03, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
