He is actually a Macedonian. He was born in the village of Embore near Kajlari in Aegean Macedonia. He then moved to Bulgaria before he moved to Canada, thats why the source says "Bulgarian immigrant" and not Macedonian immigrant. He has also been interviewed on many multicultural TV programs where he stated he was a Macedonian and that he belonged to the Macedonian nation. However, because he arrived in Canada with Bulgarian citizenship, he is often portrayed as a Bulgarian by Bulgarians. Macedonia 03:21, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

If you are born in France. Lived in Japan and became a citizen, then came to Canada you would be a Japanese immigrant because that is the country you are coming from. John Bitove is the son of John Bitove senior. He is openly Macedonian. Kroum Pindoff has supported the Macedonian cause as well. When the president of RoM was in Canada he was invited by Bitove to support a fundraiser for Macedonia. He has never claimed to be Bulgarian only Macedonian. He was even on the Macedonian TV show in Canada talking about his Macedonian heritage.Alexander the great1 20:22, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Then how come Kroum has a Bulgarian name (a name that is not used in RoM cause of its Bulgarianess) ? How come he has supported so many Bulgarians and is thankful to a Bulgarian hospital? I'll show you the sources for these if you are interested. How come he took part in World War II as part of the Bulgarian army? I have provided you with 3 really good reasons why he is to be mentioned as a Bulgarian Canadian and you have provided none for your ... hmmm ... cause. Kroum Pindoff's origin.

The real name of Kroum Pindoff is Tilemahos Pindis. He was born in Emporio-Western Macedonia-Greece.He immigrated by force in Bulgaria where his name was changed to the Bulgarian version. His relatives-from his father's brother branch- live today in Emporio, Thessaloniki and Epanomi in Greece, under their real surname Pindis.
