Fair use rationale for Image:Swimkristinaegerszegi.jpg
[edit]Image:Swimkristinaegerszegi.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

false statement in the second sentence of the article
[edit]The article incorrectly states that Krisztina Egerszegi is the youngest ever Olympic gold medalist. According to the article on Marjorie Gestring, she (Gestring) was younger than Egerszegi when winning in an Olympic event. I believe, the sentence in question should be yanked.

- I came here to make the same comment. I am going to change it to youngest ever swimming gold medalist. Tintin 15:07, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
youthfulness vs youth
[edit]I can't speak hungarian, so I can't say for sure what is the wordplay, especially because I don't see what a mouse has to do with either physical age or attitude, but should it be "youth" rather than "youthfulness"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.164.207.248 (talk) 09:21, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
It's not really a pun, and I think, that sentence should be yanked, since it doesn't add anything to the article. As for the pun, when she was young, her nickname was rather "Egérke" than "Egér", and I think that's what the author of that paragraph meant. "Egérke" means tiny/young mouse. See next sentence in the text. But this bears no relevance whatsoever to the article, and I think, I am going to pull that sentence. Zoltán (talk) 21:22, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Ledecky, I am sure, will in time surpass Egerszegi in terms of total individual Olympic gold medals. For the time being though she has not done so. Egerszegi's 5 golds were all individual. Ledecky's 5 include one for the 4x200 freestyle relay.Eravian (talk) 13:41, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
