[edit]I agree 100% that social media as a reference is not acceptable, but I added the social media anyway, I know better, so sorry! Delete at will. Flami72 (talk) 21:05, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
- A social media post about the person herself can be an acceptable source if it merely confirms a non-controversial fact (see WP:SELFPUB), but I am optimistic that we will be able to find better refs for at least the future date. Thanks for all the great content. -- Ssilvers (talk) 22:31, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
- You are the Very Model of a Modern Major-General. (And a gentleman to boot!) Thanks!! Flami72 (talk) 22:38, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
Guests
[edit]For the record:
Andrew Lippa, not sure when perhaps November 11. Here on her Twitter: "Andrew Lippa is here tonight!
That same Twitter has the Furman University performance on November 12. "The Furman singers are making their Broadway debut Nov. 12, singing in KChenoweth's 'My Love Letter to Broadway'".
RE: Hunter College Opera Theater: on their facebook here: "CONGRATS to our fantastic Hunter Opera Theater singers on their Broadway appearance with Kristin Chenoweth tonight!!!" and "Singers from the Hunter Opera Theater join superstar performer Kristin Chenoweth ON BROADWAY at the Lunt-Fontaine Theater. TOMORROW at 8:00PM!" dated November 10. (Note that it is "Hunter College Opera Theater".)
I have not added the sources for Lippa, Furman, or Hunter College because the Twitter by Chenoweth fails # 2: "it does not involve claims about third parties;" of WP:TWITTER. The Facebook from Hunter College seems to meet all 4 criteria of the WP:SELFPUB guide, but I will not include until others weigh in. (Ah, the new world--Tweets and faces.) - I suggest that we wait until Tuesday evening, and if no mainstream media sources have turned up for a guest, then we should go ahead and use one of the above social media refs. -- Ssilvers (talk) 19:55, 12 November 2016 (UTC)
- Here's something about Furman, but it doesn't give the exact date: https://news.furman.edu/2016/11/10/furman-singers-debut-on-broadway/ -- Ssilvers (talk) 19:13, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
Per Kelli O'Hara facebook: "you are a breath of fresh air, esp this week. thank you for tonight and for having me on stage with you." Here: [1]. Date not shown but, since the item is posted today, Nov 13, 2016 @ 6:49 am (EST), looks like the Kelli appearance occurred Nov. 12 (yes, I know original research and synthesis!). - I put in some tentative refs, but I'm still hoping we get some more third-party media refs. BTW this has onstage photos with Karl. -- Ssilvers (talk) 22:27, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
