EWB: Eating While Brooding?

Can the mouth-brooding betta eat while brooding? Vaughan Pratt (talk) 05:03, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I presume not. This fish is not the only species of mouth-brooding fish; in general, these fish do not feed while brooding and inevitably lose weight and need time afterwards to recover. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:07, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
