Sofitel photo should be taken down

[edit]

It's curious that on the first day of Thailand's tourist season, November 1, somebody posts an obvious promo photo of the Sofitel Krabi hotel, with a text description that boasts about the hotel's service rather than describes the photo ("Stunning resort providing traditional Thai hospitality"). Why should this page promote that, or any, specific hotel? And why doesn't the description read something like this? "A woman wearing a white dress with purple flowers is touching the back of her hair while sanding before an outdoor swimming pool with palm trees in the distance and blue sky overhead." I suspect that Sofitel Krabi had a management meeting on the first of the month and gave somebody the job of finding new ways to promote the hotel online at the beginning of tourist season. However, wikipedia is not the place for that. The photo should be taken down. TSB Music (talk) 03:10, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the image as you suggested, but next time please feel free to be Bold and edit the article to better fit Wikipedia's content guidelines yourself. I'd like to note, though, that the image was added in September, and the user who added the image had also added another photo of a Shangri-La hotel in the Philippines, so that should alleviate your concerns of self-promotion. --Paul_012 (talk) 07:40, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed a three-year-old 'Original Research' label, as I can't see it here. 219.78.216.52 (talk) 03:01, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kraal?

[edit]

Kraal is a South African term. Why is it being used here? Kortoso (talk) 18:32, 25 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
