5th phase in pregnancy
[edit]I've just removed the following from the article: "%% I say: this following paragraph is WRONG and should be deleted; see http://www.bmj.com/cgi/content/full/313/7048/4 for proof. %% In pregnancy a fifth phase may not be identifiable, in which case the fourth is used. This change, and associated uncertainty adds to the difficulties in interpreting clinical studies of hypertension although modern trials will specify the method used." I'm not a specialist in this area, but the link provided does seem to be quite convincing. Any thoughts anybody?
The last sentence is pure Woody Allen, I'm sure one of the serious, anally retentive, encyclopaedia police will be around soon to weed it out. Imagine being married to one of these humoulress clowns. No creativity and then they quote wikipedia policy. So funny and incestuous.
Points
[edit]Under the description of Korotkoff sounds, the author mentions "points" but there is no definition of what a "point" is.

Korotkoff or Korotkov
[edit]It seems that at some point, somebody went over this article with the policy to correct all Korotkoffs to Korotkovs. Even the single reference that has the guy's name in the title in the original spells it "Korotkoff" and here it is given as "Korotkov". I will change them all to Korotkoff (so that it is again consistent with the article's title. Seattle Jörg (talk) 13:15, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
- Of course I kept it when there is reference to him explicitly. Another argument: "korotkoff sound" gives me 37000 hints at google, "korotkov sound" only 1730. Seattle Jörg (talk) 13:18, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
