Contributions
[edit]I've added the redirects, such as "Korean royal cuisine", "Korean royal court food", etc. I've also added link to here from Cuisine of Korea. This article is also in "improve" section in WikiProject Korea to-do list. (Wikimachine 01:33, 2 November 2006 (UTC))
List?
[edit]Is this meant to be a List of dishes in Korean royal court cuisine, or an article about Korean royal court cuisine? It's no problem if it's the former, but the name should probably be changed to reflect it. FlagSteward 00:29, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
Surasang
[edit]Surasang article is needed because surasang only refers to meals for kings and queens. Royal court cuisine emcompasses all dishes consumed by royal family along with kings. Therefore, I replaced contents in the infobox --Appletrees (talk) 18:44, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Hangul characters in Korean related articles
[edit]Since Hangul, as a writing system, is very much a regular phonetic one, with a fixed transliteration into English, I find it a bit weird that we should be incorporating the Hangul versions of words into en-Wikipedia. I mean, I can understand the need to do this sort of thing e.g. with Hanja, obscure pronounciations and so on. But in the case of normal, modern, well-transliterated Korean terms I really can't see why dual scripts should be used.
Of course this is a wider issue. Some native expert might even want to take this into the top level of Wikipedia. I for one ain't in a position to argue this well. Decoy (talk) 01:44, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
