The result of the move request was: not moved: no evidence the proposed name is against the naming conventions or more awkward. DrKiernan (talk) 18:17, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Finnish icebreaker KontioMS Kontio – Per WP:NC-SHIP. Relisted. BDD (talk) 16:41, 31 October 2012 (UTC) Beagel (talk) 10:31, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. The Finnish state-owned icebreakers are never referred to by the prefix "MS". How about Kontio (icebreaker)? Tupsumato (talk) 12:47, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The Finnish sources sometimes use either IB ("icebreaker") or JM ("jäänmurtaja", "icebreaker" in Finnish) as a prefix for the Finnish icebreakers, but I'm absolutely against introducing yet another prefix to Wikipedia (IMHO, MSV is just as bad...). Thus, if "Nation Type Name" is not acceptable as per WP:NC-SHIP, I'd go for "Name, (icebreaker, year)", the year being used only if there is a need to disambiguate. Perhaps we could drop even "icebreaker" from the article name? Tupsumato (talk) 13:23, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
WP:COMMONNAME is also against MS Kontio. Tupsumato (talk) 15:00, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
