This review may take a day or two to prepare. This article looks more or less like a translation of the Wikipedia article from Russian Wikipedia, either with or without attribution, which is not a peer reviewed article at Russian Wikipedia. The lead section here appears very short and not peer review quality. Also the narrative flow of the sections in the article often appear to be little more than lists of sentences. Please inform me why you believe the article is ready for GA nomination on English Wikipedia and if you are ready to improve the general narrative flow in the writing of this article, as well as making other improvements. Cheers. JohnWickTwo (talk) 00:19, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@JohnWickTwo: Thank you for your helpful comments — I have expanded the lead section. I agree about the narrative flow, but I am not sure I will be able to significantly improve the rest of the article right now. Er nesto (talk) 07:40, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Er nesto: Thanks for expanding the lead section. Normally, the expectation is that nominating editors will be able to make expansions and revisions to the text and narrative as needed. Also, I am noticing that the linking of this article on English Wikipedia is not that strong as compared to Russian Wikipedia. For example, his singing role in Leshcheko has a stub article for the film but his co-star Miriam Sekhon has no article in English Wikipedia although there is one for her on Russian Wikipedia. If you have an edit friend at Wikipedia for making needed additions and improvements to this article then that's good. If you do not have an edit friend to help improve the narrative of this article and make expansions then I suggest to do a quick close of this review at this time until you or other editors may improve the article into a more peer review quality form. Much as I like him as an actor, at the moment, I am not sure that the "B" class rating which you have posted for this article is fully warranted. JohnWickTwo (talk) 14:03, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Er nesto: This review has been self-closed by User:Er nesto. Could you also indicate if you are planning to take Christopher Lambert off of the GA nomination on the Talk page prior to someone picking up the review, if you are not available for enhancing and improving the article as is normally the case.
