Spelling of the name
[edit]For the name of Maximilian's chancellor Konrad and his descendants many different spellings are verifiable like wie Sterczel, Stirczel, Stürczel, Stirtzel, Sturtzel, Stürtzel, Sturtzl, Stürtzl, Sturzeln, Sturzel, Stürzel, Sturzl, Stürzl, whereas „Stürtzel“ was dominating. From about 1535 the notation "Stürzel" without "t" became widely accepted. HeinrichStuerzl (talk) 11:51, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
