Kolmården park to another article

- I was going to say no because the Zoo section was not enough to create a start-class article. However, there is plenty of information to expand it quickly, so I have moved the zoo information to its own article. This article barely qualifies as start-class now, but I've seen worse so I'm not going to demote it. Since all the dictionaries I looked at (and the EAZA site) translate djurpark as zoo, I have nemed the new article Kolmården Zoo. Donlammers (talk) 14:46, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
Pronunciation
[edit]The current provided pronunciation sounds more like "kådmården" with a D, with no sound of the L, but I've only ever heard it referred to as "kålmården". Does anyone have a source for the pronunciation? Maybe it's a local pronunciation? Paditor (talk) 13:22, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
- I did find an old spelling of "Kårdmården" in the book "Beskrifning öfver Mo samt N:a och S:a Wedbo härader i Jönköpings Län" (Jonas Allvin, 1857). Paditor (talk) 14:01, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
