It's notable because it is one of the most important ideas for understanding Japanese government and ideology from the Meiji era to WWII. It should have a much more substantial entry Alanba42 (talk) 17:18, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Essay Tagging

I'm not clear which editor tagged the article, as the edit summaries from that period are blank. I have removed this tag. The article, in my opinion, reads acceptably well.
