NPOV dispute [Community Involvement]
[edit]MacUpdate and Koingo Software entered into an advertising venture in early 2013 and offered users of MacUpdate free licenses of its DataGuardian and MacCleanse products. However, due to a misunderstanding on one or both parties, the licenses were revoked.
Attempts to add this information to the community involvement portion of this article have been deleted multiple times.

- I agree it's relevant; the issue is, we need a neutral presentation of the information. Presenting only MacUpdate's side of the story is not neutral. Rather than turn the section into he-said–she-said claims and counterclaims, it's best to wait until the issue has gotten significant coverage in third-party news stories. We'll let the journalists sort out whether Koingo had directly entered into the agreement, or whether an affiliate had overstepped his/her authority in offering the current versions, as well as any other matters of dispute. —C.Fred (talk) 14:23, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
