[edit]I don't have correct date at hand but the 1995 date here is definitely wrong. His detention and trial were ongoing in the second half of 1994. (The sentencing was late 1995 or early 1996.) It may also be worth noting that he was facing the death penalty for these charges (which were facially absurd). "He returned to Kenya in 1995,[1] but was detained again with artificially charged with robbery with violence.[4] He was sentenced for four years in prison and six lashes by cane." 169.253.4.21 (talk) 18:51, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
"Apartheid"
[edit]May I request that my interlocutor address the following matter before restoring the deleted text yet again:
- wa Wamwere made a passing reference to Mauritania amid several other references to "apartheid" conditions all throughout Africa. Isolating the reference to Mauritania distorts the text's meaning.
