This article seems to exist purely from COI and paid editing
[edit]There is a long history of the titular individual trying to force through the creation of a transparently obvious PR self-promotion. Eventually a new account Dwnloda arrives, declaring that their COI disclosure means this attempt at publishing PR fluff is reasonable. Having worn down those who opposed his article creation, they managed to publish their vacuous PR piece. This newly paid editor of course, immediately stopped interacting with wikipedia after this CV went live.
I did a bit of googling, turns out they didn't just pay people to sing their praises on wikipedia, they paid online authors to proclaim them as a modern day Mozart. This article for example is hilarious https://www.huffpost.com/entry/kobi-arads-encompassing-creativity_b_5a557da6e4b0e3dd5c3f8d23 "Kobi Arad is as a contemporary Bach & Mozart in one", "his keyboard work - is perhaps without equal in the 21st century."
He uses those paid PR posts as supporting references for his various grandiose claims, they clearly aren't reliable sources. This article should be deleted, they've repeatedly tried to manipulate the process to force it through and somehow succeeded. BeardedChimp (talk) 10:55, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message.
- As the person who created the page and has spoken to Kobi Arad, I could assure you that none of the articles I used were paid articles. The HuffPost article you mentioned was not used on the page.
- I find it a bit surprising how much you know about the page’s history.
- I should mention that the page was approved through the Articles for Creation (AFC) process and reviewed by an experienced admin. It was also discussed in the Administrators' noticeboard and received approval from admins who frequent that space. Kobi Arad has been nominated for and has won several awards, meeting the WP:MUSICBIO criteria.
- I hope we can address any concerns with good faith and evidence. Thank you for your understanding. Dwnloda (talk) 05:55, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
