Fair use rationale for Image:KnockedOut.jpg
[edit]Image:KnockedOut.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:43, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Reference Needed
[edit]"However, in recent years the album has been rediscovered and is considered by some fans as among Dylan's most fascinating efforts."
This badly needs a reference. Could someone please come up with one? - Otherwise I recommend deletion. I have never seen this album described as `fascinating', and I'm in the died-in-the-wool-follower-of-Dylan category. --86.132.131.15 21:31, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed, unknowing readers are being misled. I will remove it. -- Dawson1066 22:09, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Album Title
[edit]The song Junco Partner sung by various artists e.g. The Holy Modal Rounders (recorded 1964 according to sleeve notes on the compilation album Blues in the Bottle, CDWIK 71, 1988, contains the lyrics in the first verse
Down the road Down the road Down the road Came Junco Partner, partner, partner He was loaded as can be He was knocked out, knocked out loaded He was loaded with misery
It would seem possible that Bob Dylan had heard this song and used these words for the album title.

- Junco Partner is a traditional blues tune from Louisiana that's been done by a bunch of famous artists, including The Clash and Harry Connick Jr. The lyrics tend to change, but the line "He was knocked out, knocked out loaded" seems pretty consistent. I feel it's likely the origin of this album's title, but obviously a reputable source would have to be found. p.355 of Keys To The Rain by Oliver Trager (available on google books) mentions this, but it seems speculative even there.72.199.28.81 (talk) 20:47, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
