No terminology
[edit]Wikipedia is to focus on out-of-universe information. And listing ships and technology is not out-of-universe. And there is likely no 3rd party coverage on such to even warrant it. Please do not add it in again. This is not a fan site. This page is to inform everyday readers on what Knights of Sidonia is about. Not go into heavy detail about every little fact.Lucia Black (talk) 07:00, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
Show/Edpisode Edit Warring
[edit]Hello. I'm getting a little frustrated with a particular editor who seems determined to remove entries about the show without consensus or explanation. Human.v2.0 (talk) 15:16, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
- I'm not the editor for which yous speak, but I've also reverted your edit. The episode list was split from the main article because of its size. This is typical for anime TV series articles. The episode descriptions do need to be trimmed down to 150 to 200 words as well. —Farix (t | c) 20:00, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
Production section
[edit]This article could do with a production section of some sort. There are a number of sources that could be used, among them this: Interview: Knights of Sidonia Mangaka Tsutomu Nihei from Anime News Network. G S Palmer (talk • contribs) 22:57, 7 September 2016 (UTC)

Second season name
[edit]Shouldn't the second season have its own infobox? It's a second season, yes, which does not mean it merits its own infobox, but it is labeled as "Battle for Planet Nine", and as far as I know that should indicate it deserves its own infobox. Looking at other series like Cardight!! Vanguard it's apparent that there are many, many seasons. The first two, the original and Asia Circuit, for example, are labeled in different infoboxes despite having the same listed staff, networks, and etc. Netflix, the distributor of Knights of Sidonia, even lists the second season as "Battle for Planet Nine". An example of when to not use a second infobox could be like, Bungou Stray Dogs, where the second season is literally just "Bungou Stray Dogs" but with "season 2" or "2nd season" added to it, which isn't a title. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sarcataclysmal (talk • contribs) 23:57, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
Third season?
[edit]It seems it was announced around summer 2017. [1]/[2] but I can't find any reliable source for the announcement. This is just a maybe. The best I found is [3] but is it reliable? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 15:28, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
- Your maybe is a quotation from ANN, which I am fairly certain is used here. --Izno (talk) 16:23, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Piotrus: To my knowledge WP:KOREA does not consider SBS PopAsia a reliable source per WP:KO/RS, if that helps. lullabying (talk) 16:39, 16 January 2020 (UTC) On second glance, whether they're reliable still seems to be debated: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Korea/Reliable sources#Who determined SBS PopAsia to be unreliable and why? lullabying (talk) 16:42, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
