[edit]Hi. I'm the author buuuuut I think it'd be a a little egotistical to go about it so just wondering if someone could include a little bit of the extra detail from the description. (MOS1985 (talk) 19:36, 8 November 2018 (UTC))
- @MOS1985: Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline (Wikipedia:Conflict of interest; the most relevant section is WP:SELFCITE) doesn't address taxonomists writing about taxa they've described, but you wouldn't be the first to do so. This article could certainly use a morphological description. It should not be a problem if you would like to add a description yourself. I don't think it would be at all egotistical; it might be egotistical if you were focused on creating new articles on taxa you've named when so many taxa named by other people lack articles, but an improving an article started by somebody else can only be a good thing.
