Overall good job! You provide basic information about this object and a detailed analysis about the imagery on the amphora. It would be better if you further provide background information, such as something about the painter, or something about the Panathenaic Game. Also, a picture of this amphora should attach to the page. Maria HongminYu (talk) 03:40, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have to agree with Maria that what you have so far is really good, but you should try adding more information. The Kleophrades Painter has his own wikipedia page, so maybe try to link in some of that information! Kaylauer520 (talk) 14:53, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Annalise -- this is a good start, but the article will need some more work before it's ready. Here are a few suggestions:

  • Include an image -- this doesn't have to be an image of your specific vase, if you can't find one that meets the copyright requirements, but you could alternately include an image of a different Panathenaic amphora as a comparison. Use the CCSearch website (linked in the image / media training module) to find appropriate images.>
  • The word "terracotta" should be lowercase (it's ok to have it uppercase in the title, but make sure it's lowercase in the actual body of the article).
  • Include some sort of additional discussion about the context of the vase. This could be a discussion of the Panathenaic festival, or amphora production, or olive oil, or black-figure vase painting, or something about where the vase was found. Don't feel that you need to discuss ALL of these things -- they are suggestions -- but you definitely need something else in here to add substance to your article. As written, it will probably be flagged as a "stub" article.
