[edit]Why, yes, I did recreate an AfD'd and later speedied article. As User talk:Stemonitis says, Monday changed the circumstances: a prizewinning video covered in reputable media is a much different thing than just a popular YouTube video. My version of the article is pretty bare-bones, but (I believe) it asserts notability. If the article now cuts it, the deleted revisions should be restored. --Kizor 16:41, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Nicktoons Network
[edit]Recently I saw an ad on channel 302 (direcTV only) about an animation contest. When they were describing what some were like, short clips of Kiwi! appeared.
Don't think it should be added to the article, but meh. It was special because I had JUST watched Kiwi!. 75.26.197.42 01:27, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Plagiarism / Inspirations
[edit]I think there should be section on the inspirations (plagiarism?) in main stream productions. Recently I saw the Happy Feet cartoon movie where an exactly the same scene (this time with the penguin as the 'non flying' bird as the main star) on 1:15:00. (MK 28 August 2007))
- In an interview with the creator of "Kiwi!" he claims that he had the idea of something wanting to fly for a while, and one of the main reasons he DIDN'T choose a penguin was because he wanted to be original and ovoid copying Happy Feet/Surf's Up. Also just because 2 movies involve flightless birds doesn't imply that there is plagiarism involved. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.175.211.39 (talk) 05:05, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
