Title "Kitsunigari" - "fox hunt" or "fox maiden"?

[edit]

Kitsunigari refers to the Japanese mythological "fox maiden", right? Or does it refer to both "fox maiden" and "fox hunt"? Jimw338 (talk) 16:25, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Jimw338: I'll need to check the Meisler book, but I remember it having a bit about how Kitsunegari was effectively a neologism for "fox hunting" that the show came up with and back-translated it into Japanese. I don't remember it saying anything about the fox maiden (and by that, do you mean Tamamo-no-Mae)?--Gen. Quon (Talk) 16:55, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
