Amundsen expedition

I removed an unreferenced sentence that stated that Amundsen used kite skiing in 1911. I can find no evidence for this. Scott used sails attached to his sleds, and Amundsen may or may not have done the same, but this would not be kite skiing as defined in the article even if the sails were kites. More likely the sails were mounted on masts: both expeditions reached Antarctica on sailing vessels and many members of both expeditions were experienced sailors. I will add the 2007 Antarctic expedition that did use kites in its place. -Arch dude (talk) 01:01, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
