Sylvan Whittingham

[edit]

I've taken out the mention of Sylvan Whittingham as songwriter; there's no reference added to support crediting a songwriter other than Les Reed & Barry Mason. I have checked via Google and can find no online support to identify anyone other than Reed & Mason as this song's writers. Please feel free to restore Sylvan Whittingham's name as a writer of this song with the provision of appropriate reference(s).

Repeated above action. I understand Ms Whittingham was married to Barry Mason & that she sued to be credited as co-writer on songs credited to her ex-husband: there are indications she was successful as regards the song Delilah - altho her name's been edited out of that song's Wikipedia article - but there's no evidence of that success extending to any other song including Kiss Me Goodbye (the link to the ASCAP index is a dead end). Perhaps Ms Whittingham's contention that she assisted in this song's composition rates a mention in the article but she can't simply be cited as a recognized co-writer.--Cherrylimerickey (talk) 19:25, 16 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
