Hi, I removed the material about her never having smoked, not sure if it is all that relevant to her bio. I also copy edited the material about her husband, but that is also not a big deal. I tried to ce her nationality. I know United Kingdom bios can be a little touchy about this so. Thanks, --Malerooster (talk) 17:02, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As lung cancer is usually linked to smoking, it is relevant that this was the cause of Milne's terminal illness. She was born in Middlesex, but had a strong identification with Scotland while spending most of her life elsewhere. Describing her nationality as "English" would be as misleading as giving it as "Scottish", so I thought "Anglo-Scottish" might be a more accurate compromise, even though the two nations are both part of the same country for now. For much the same reason, I thought her husband's split identity was worth mentioning - it gives the article a thematic underpinning, not least because of her father's Scottish parents. That Ed Miliband made his own tribute to Milne implies she has sufficient notability for inclusion in Wikipedia. This might not seem so clear for some, The Guardian, for example, chose to feature her as part of their "Other lives" series rather than the more straightforward Obituaries. Fair enough. I would not include the Miliband reference since that part seems like a stretch to mention as it was written. --Malerooster (talk) 04:05, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Also, what does it mean that she "gained a first"? Sorry for being a slow bird on the other side of the pond :) Cheers! --Malerooster (talk) 04:06, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
