[edit]What notable accomplishments or contributions has this individual made to Astronomy and/or Astrophysics? I'm not sure that merely being a professor in a respectable science is enough to warrant notability. --I am not good at running 22:46, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
This person won the Newton Lacy Pierce Prize in Astronomy in 2000[1]. So removing this would cause there to be a red-link on that page. Otherwise I don't know.--T. Anthony 03:18, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
