Frequency and typical examples

This article would benefit from information about how frequent this right was exercised. Are we talking a handful a year, many a month, or what? It would also benefit from more information on the types of things that would be considered provocations of a legitimate exercise of the right, with some examples. What were the common ways a lowborn person might infringe the honour of a Samurai and be struck down as a result? LastDodo (talk) 11:40, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
