Split article?
[edit]The article as written is confusing and should probably be split. My sense is that there should be two articles, one on the New York Central Railroad station and its precursors, and one on the New York, Ontario and Western station:
- Kingston station (Ulster and Delaware Railroad)
- Kingston station (New York, Ontario and Western Railway)
I did some searching on newspapers.com and didn't find much evidence of the former Ulster and Delaware depot being called "Union" station, at least not by the mid-1950s. For all that, my 1950 Official Guide implies that both the New York Central and the New York, Ontario and Western, used the same station. This is slightly complicated by the fact that the New York Central also served Kingston, Ontario, although if this was at Kingston railway station (Ontario) it's not covered in that article. Change word in first section.
[edit]Someone blocked this page, or I would have done it myself.
For fourth Kingston station, should read “New York Ontario and Western RailWAY”, NOT “railroad”. 2600:1004:B167:E3AB:7494:B37E:CF0C:5E36 (talk) 05:05, 6 May 2022 (UTC)
